yeah man, those 96 cobra's look nice but they only put out I think 200 horses stock, your going to be disapointed.

maybe he cant drive, a stock lt1 and a stock 96-98 cobra should run about the same with the cobra having just slightly more top end power

 

Go test drive one then write back. I think youll be disapointed..

HAHAHHA ARE YOU DRUNK? 305hp @ crank maybe? Talk about a pile of steaming dung 4.6 is maybe the worst ford motor ever put in a stang. If anything go buy a 92 and back Cobra that will blast the 96.

 

The first year (other than classic) for the Cobra is the 1993 Cobra, which BTW, is one of the most expensive used Mustangs you can buy..... very high demand, only made in 1993.

Anyway, these guys are right though. A 96-97 Cobra is not going to be as fast as an LT1 with the same mods.... Now, a 2001 Cobra will beat an LT1, but still gets its *** spanked by LS1's...

We all know about the '03's though, heh.
