What's involved w/ rebuilding calipers?

I have to rebuild a set of LS1 front calipers and LT1 rears. Is it tough? Any special tools needed? Tips? Pictures?
Thanks

Why rebuild them? It will cost you just as much as buying a reconditioned/rebuilt piece thats ready to go.

Check a few parts stores for pricing.

Since I'm doing the LS1 front brake swap I am going to powder coat the calipers along with the rotors, brackets, spindles, uppper & lower control arms and springs and sway bar.

its nto hard...if u check ur haynes manual if u have one......they have step by step instructions on how to rebulid the calipers.....the ls1 arent that much different in rebuildin except the dual piston design......no special tools just maybe an air line to blow the piston/s out of its bore.....

im getting mine powdercoated this weekend

I checked that out but it only shows the LT1. As long as the LS1 isn't much different I'll be fine. Since the haynes manual doesn't mention anything about doing it to the LS1 I was slightly concerned.
Thanks
