Whats involved in using LS1 coil packs for coil per cylinder ignition???

If I can get the coil packs off a wrecked LS1 what else do I need??? I know the optical section of the opti will be used as a crank position sensor. Now I imagine there is some sort of controller too right? I'm trying to figure out which setup will be cheaper for me, the coil pack per cylinder or the dynaspark. Thanks.

Are you talking about the LTCC box? How much are you going to pay for the coils? The LTCC box is 399.00

Alot of info available, if you are willing to do a search. A couple of key words would be 'arnie', 'turbo Bob', and 'LTCC'.
