The LT4 hotcam would work fine for ya.......But IMO, An even better option is that you could have (SStrokerAce on this site) Bret, do you a custom grind for you, to get even more exactly of what your wanting.....Joe

You really need to do a search. This has been discussed eleventy billion times. Many of the people (I, for one) who really know something about it are tired of constantly rehashing their opinions.

A4 or M6? Headers before cam

A4 : 220/230 .500"/.510" 115LSA
M6 : 220/230 .500"/.510" 112LSA

Rich, don't exaggerate. Were still a few posts short of eleventy billion times for this topic. Executioner, have you tried the search function yet? There really is some good info there. Plus, do you even have headers, or an aftermarket exhaust? That too will make a difference on how the cam sounds. Even with those parts and with the cats and or cat still on the car with a proper tune and correct idle speed a HotCam sounds almost stock to me. Now take the cats off and lower the idle and it will lope a little bit.

If you are looking for something that is budget friendly and tame on the streets, then the Hotcam is a pretty good option to go with. If you are looking for something a little more, then there are endless options out there as well.

I'm not sure about lobing, but pulling a plug wire should give you a nice lope.

The 242/248 XFI cam on a 105 LSA should give you a nice lope.

Rich,

Just a little bit. Everyone knows the easiest way to ask that question and get a response from me though. Actually what I'm sick of is fixing opions of people who don't know better all the time. Everyone thinks they know what the best lobes are (XFI is the rage now) or LSA's or durations.

FWIW I think there are about 3 good shelf cams out there from small to big for a 350, i've said them before. All of them can be beat by a non shelf grind, but when it comes to blowers and strokers there is nothing close in terms of shelf cams for what guys want.

In the end guys.... you need to realize what you want to do with the car. What mods you have on it, everything from parts in the motor to gears, stall, tranny, tires etc.... Then you can have some idea where you want to start looking for a cam.
