whats with the edlebrock intake for the lt1 ?

whats with the edlebrock intake for the lt1 ?

a friend just mentioned it and i was wondering what it looked like . he said he wasnt sure if it was out but he said it had a look of a carb style manifold . any pics ?

Edelbrock is set to release an factory style LT1 airgap intake. Do a seach, there have been many threads about it lately, and it has not been released yet. It'll probably arrive about the same time that the "unicorn" MSD opti does

Here is mine. You have to convert it over to fit on LT1 heads. This is an old pic...everything is powdercoated now.

It looks exactly like a stock LT1 intake with a small wedge out of the bottom of the plenum on each side for an "air gap" effect.

Its in their catalog, and in their ad in the current issue of GM High-Tech Performance magazine. Not available and no definite date as to when it will be.

Try a "search"...... been sort of beat to death over the past month or so.

Yes but he said Carb style which is what I have.

What he meant by "a look of a carb style manifold" is somewhat open to interpretation.

Yes sir I agree, but I figured his friend might be refering to the yet to be released one when he said "for the LT1" being as the carb style have to converted

the stock lt1 head is the best head ever created.
