Just wondering. I have a set of AFR heads that were supposed to have 2.055 intake and 1.60 exhaust valves. One of my intake valves broke off, and my mechanic sent the heads to a machine shop. To our surprise, the intake valves were 2.065
we triple checked, and still came up 2.065.
Now, I thought those 2.065 valves were for big blocks?!
What you guys think? I don't think it's a bad thing, I just think it was pretty odd, since I thought 2.055 were as big as you could go.
Again these are AFR 190cc reverse cooling heads for LT1 engines. My motor is a 383 stroker.
Thanks for any feedback.

You're talking about stock LT1 heads, and I'm aware of that. I did a search on it, but nothing came up on 2.065 valves for aftermarket heads.. These are AFR heads I'm talking about.Originally posted by 95TA8280

I was also wondering, based on what I've read while doing a search, if my vlaves may have a problem seating? I inexplicably, broke one valve, could it be because they're too big?
