I have used 40 below, works good.

If you use straight water, Prestone makes a cooling system"lubricant" looks like watered down milk, lubricates and has corrosion inhibitors. Looks like the white cooling stuff in a milling machine.

To use Evans, your cooling system has to be completely dry, BONE dry, you cannot mx it with water or coolant.

Plain green stuff mixed with water, stock thermostat.... car never sees more than 185 in traffic.

After seeing nothing as a result from friends experiences with water wetter and a few others, I would reccomend just mixing your antifreeze with distilled water.

My supercharged car runs hotter than a N/A car, and just with a 160 thermostat, TB bypass, and having the fans kick on earlier with the computer being tuned, my car still doesn't get very hot. The hottest I have seen it on a HIGH humidity 100+ degree day while beating the snot out of it was 200. Mostly I see it stay around 185 or so. Back when I was N/A I would see 180 max, and sometimes on a cold day I wouldn't even see 170! Trust me, if you are in need of cooling things off, there's something wrong with your car.
