I have to buy some used stock heads just wondering if all the years will work on my car or not and what car has the best heads?

 

All LT1 heads will work, even the cast iron Impala/Caprice heads. Supposedly, the 92-93 early castings are the best for porting, something about the alloy. It's also said that the iron heads can be made to flow better than the aluminum, but the gain is negated by the weight.
