what would be my best option to go fast?

I'm thinking of modding my car this may or so. But I don't know a lot past bolt ons. My car runs a 8.57 in the 8th. I dont know about the 1/4. I would like to 12.5 or so. I dont want a power adder or nos.

How would the lt4 kit help me, from what I see you can do better?

I need a good streetable cam, I dont want to add bigger injecots unless I can help it.

Or I thought about getting a ls1 with LT and a cam. That would be pretty quick

try to keep parts under 900.00 thanks

Get me straight on this first. You only want to spend 900, however, an LT4 Kit and an LS1 will both be more than that. I'd say, try and find someone that could hook you up w/ a P&P or try it yourself and find a nice cam. You should be around the time you want with that, including your current mods.

Well I think im going to stick to lt1. thr lt4 kit is like 500. I got some friends that might help install this.

What times with stock heads and a lt4 kit with tuning run on the track or dyno?

you will need some good tires *** traction will play a big role. get a good converter and a cam and you should be better than 12.5

Don't forget that you will need tuning when you go with the hotcam. That adds to the cost as well.
