i'm planing on doing a le3 setup what would i benefit going with a 396 rather then a 383 or a 355. i plan on having all supporting mod.

I think most will agree that in order to get to a 396 you would need to bore the cylinders out to far to be safe. But many people have done it, I would say a 383 would be best all around, but dont just take my word for it, this is just info from what iv read.

 

I think you would make more TQ with a 396 over a 383

 

As said, more torque. And bomb, the extra cubes come from the crank, it's still a .030 over cylinder.
