My car idle's like crap, actually it wont idle. I can barely get it started, only after about 10 seconds of cranking and then if i dont keep on the gas it will die. I had to take off the fuel rails to get at the egr and maybe I screwed up the injector wires when I was plugging them back in? Would this cause the kind of problems I'm having? I'm also running very rich and this only started happening after my lt install and just gets worse every time I try to start it thinking I found the problem.

probably since fuel is only placed into the cylinders in cycle with spark, so just like spark plugs injectors should have a firing order.

note: This is just a thought

I had Injectors #1 and #3 swapped accidentally once. No noticeable difference in drivability, and a SES light. As long as they are adjacent intake ports, it doesn't much make a difference.

On a 93' I don't think it makes any difference since its a batch fire setup. Its 94+ models with sequential injection that makes it important to root them properly because injectors work as per the required firing order. That’s why the connectors are numbered.

Removing the fuel rail was not necessary to get to the EGR valve.

I was thinking the same. I never had to take off anything to swap out the egr(besides the egr itself, obviously).

Actually the '93's have to remove the fuel rail otherwise you cant get at a bolt. The fuel lines cross over behind the intake unlike the 94+ so those lines are in the way. Glad to know I cant screw up the injector plugs then. I had to settle for bosch o2 sensors (all I could find locally) and I'll install them tomorrow to see if it makes a difference.

TPS maybe? cuz you say it wont idle right.. i actually had a problem this morning... the car started after like 4 cranks.. which was unusually long and i had smoke coming out of my air filter because it was so rich.. but i turned it off finally got it started again and the problem went away after i idled it manually for a minute or so but idle problems can often be the TPS.. as for me... i need a PCM tune cuz i'm runnnnnnnnin rich all da time and it sucks
