what would be the best spark plug for my application?
what would be the best spark plug for my application?
My 383 stroker is going in tommorrow and I want to put the correct spark plug in. Here is my combination.
97 SS M6 4.10 gears
XE503 cam
6.0" forged I beam rods
3.75" cast Eagle crank
-18cc SRP forged pistons
LE2 cylinder heads 270/190 @ .600"
1.6 roller rockers
30# injectors
52mm t/b
dyno tuning
Short tube headers
High flow Cats
SLP 2OTL catback
static compression is 10.67
dynamic compression is 8.44
with engine running at 275rpms on electric motor at machine shop the compression was 215-220psi
I have a brand new set of GM platinum tip spark plugs that are specified for a stock 97 LT1 but I don't know if I should use them or something different.
Thanks.

Re: what would be the best spark plug for my application?
i use NGK TR-55's as do alot of people. are you planning on running nitrous at all? if so then go with NGK TR-6's. if you dont run nitrous then the plugs you have should be fine.
