What spring should I run on my 383 setup? Right now the cam is going to be a cc305(might change to a 224/230). The heads are ported stock with 1.6 rr. I have some lt4 springs which will work with the 305 but not the 224/230...I belive the lt4 springs have a 101# seat pressure and a 330# rate. I also have some crane dual springs with a 130# seat and a 395# rate. I just dont want to use more spring than I need and hurt hp. I plan on spraying a 150 shot also so Im leaning towards the crane dual setup. Any thoughts ?TIA

 

Use the cranes or some Comp 987-16's. You'd rather have more than not enough.
