What to use to remove crank hub??

Autozone doesn't carry a "hub puller" specifically....what can I use to remove it? Will a generic 3-toe puller work instead?

I got the least expensive on Sears had for $19.99, it came with an assortment of bolts to use. It was called a hub or balancer puller, it worked fine.

A traditional "harmonic balancer puller" will work. However, most have a large shaft and you will have to put something inside the crank threads to protrude out, so the puller shaft will not push against the hub. You have to do this because the hole in the hub is small. Whatever you use, don't let it get stuck the crank thread hole.

I just pulled it off with a hub puller my friend had. It worked fine. Couldnt have done it without it. It was really on there when i removed it.
