What object fits tight enought into the pilot bushing hole, so that when you press it in, the grease won't keep comming out of the sides?

Thanks.

lmao, dude, I was in your same boat trying to pull the bearing in my s-10.

go to autozone and rent their pilot bushing puller for $20, hook it up to a dent puller and have it sitting in your hands in three whacks. i was under the truck for 4 hrs cussing that thing, got the puller, 30 seconds, no lie.

good luck.

I tried had the same problem you did. I bought the puller from autozone also but it didn't fit. So what i ended up doing was using a big bolt i had lying around in the garage. I then grinded it down until it was the same size of the hole with a good snug fit. Worked perfectly. I now keep it in my tool box for the next time i do my clutch.

Try a 1/4 inch drive extension with an 11mm (I think) socket on the end backwards. It just fits. The toilet paper trick worked with this setup.
