What to use for an AIR line to CAT?

I need advise on the best material to hook the AIR pump up to the CAT.

My jethots don't have AIR hookups and I need to pass a visual inspection but not a sniffer test.
I bought a cat that has the AIR hookup on it but I don't know what type of hose could be used to hook it to the AIR pump.
Anyone ever done this or have an idea as to what might work?
I know street rodders do this all the time but I can't seem to find any details on this.

To the best of my knowledge, the 4th gen camaros didnt have an air fitting on the cat, so you don't need that. Maybe you can crimp it off, or have someone weld it shut...that wont affect your visual as it wasnt part of the original emmisions. You just need to hook the air up to the headers, the air intake, and the air pump, and you will pass visual.

Thanks for the reply.

Unfortunately, that won't work for me.
As I said, my Jethots don't have AIR hookups so I can't go that route.
I bought the CAT specifically so I could hook up the AIR to it since I don't have any other way to hook it to the exhaust.

Go to a muffler shop, they can probably sell you the type of hose that would work.

Before you go to the trouble to get the hose for the cat, you might want to call an inspection station up to see if they will pass it like that. Some states have a 'tamper' inspection, so if it isnt hooked up in the factory locations, it fails. They may look on the top of the car for the air stuff, see it is not there, and be [EDIT] and say no go as its not right as the emmisions isnt routed factory specs.

If you run a rubber hose, you'll have to be sure to include a check valve right at the converter connection, so the exhaust doesn't flow back into the hose and melt it.

Going to be interesting to see how strict they are on the "visual", since the long tubes (if that's what your Jet Hots are) are, technically, not legal to begin with.

Yeah...I've talked to a couple places and most say that as long as it is present they will let it pass.

I don't plan on even taking the cap off of the AIR fitting as my AIR pump isn't even operational.
The pump has never actually worked since the day I bought the car because the previous owner had disabled it.
