What type of MAF sensor?

Well my current MAF sensor is fried, should i get a remanufactured one or a new one? regardless of which i get, when i rebuild my engine im going to descreen it. But i would like peoples inputs? unless someone has a perfectly good one that works without problem (ill check parts for sale/wanted soon). Thanks in advance for your opinions.

Another reason why i suspect my MAF is dead or dying because the the OBD II codes are flashing at me reading P0171, P0174 codes. both saying system running lean bank 1 and bank 2. This happened first when i had my friends descreened MAF. so i got my old one back, and ther codes went away, the codes came back on when i was doing Acceleration test, so i plugged this machine to test it, and did every test possible only to yield either no response, or very little.

do not descreen your maf, and you wont have as many little problems. A maf with the screen is a LOT easier to tune than one without as well. If you plot everything, a screen maf will have a nice linear line of regression, where a descreen one with have no line and everything will just be randomly scattered.

Do not de-screen it. And use a stock unit.
