Question What is this tube on my lt1..questions..

I was doing the tb bypass on my lt1 and above the cooling line on the passenger side of the tb and under the big fat hose their is another hose going to it.Its a small diameter line and its got a rubber elbow on it.The rubber elbow piece is torn up and its bigger at one end and molded 90 degree piece.I went to gm to get the part but the pics on their computer are not good.I ordered the part thinking it was correct but turned out to be the big fat pcv hose I think that goes above the one I need.

What is this line. Can I just put caps on the line and on the tb or intake where it goes?? Is it just pollution junk..we have no inspections here or does anyone have a clue where I can get this 90 degree elbow which has different size hole at each end.
On the drivers side that rubber 90 was worn out and got a new pcv line that came with the 90 degree rubber part I needed.
Is this part the same as the passenger side one.I can't even hardly see it let alone take it out of there to look at it..these lt1s are really cluttered and hard to work on sometimes.

I am worried the passenger side rubber fitting is causing a vacuum leak since it torn.

Ok if its fuel canister purge can I simply cap it at the intake or tb forget where it goes in now..tired..
And leave it open at tube end or cap that too or will that do weird things with pressure or where can I get this elbow piece..gm doesn't seem to think it exists..

Diagram with part numbers

I think you are referring to item 5.

It exists. I bought one not long ago.

Mine tore up too and I bought a cheap replacement from Kragen.... its been like 3 years now. I was not a direct replacement, just an elbow that did fit perfectly.

That is the evaporative emissions canister (EEC) purge solenoid. The PCM opens it during part load driving to allow engine vacuum to pull air in through the carbon canister in the driver's rear fender, to purge the fuel vapors it has collected from the fuel tank vent.
