would like to know what all of my options are ... for a 95+ cam/vented opti

so far i know of:
-Cloyes 9-3145 double roller

will a [variation of a] stock set work?

(i did find a similar thread for a 94 in one of my searches: https://www.camaroz28.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=512959)

They should all work with an electric water pump.

I've used various sets with my electric pump, and my current timing set is for a solid roller.

i was under the impression that sets with mechanical drives would not work, but ive never seen any of this stuff apart yet so i guess that was a poor blind assumption lol.

Does it hurt performance any to have a set with the mechanical drive even if its not being used?

For the price, you won't find a better timing set than the 9-3145.
