my temp stays the same wheather i have the a/c on or not, so i am thinking its the sensor that feeds the gauge that is shot. *i hope anyways* that it is not something major.

Does anyone know if you can replace this from the top of the engine? I got the other one from the top but this one looks a bit tricker, i seen the diagram on the shoebox site.

Also how can I tell if my car has a different PCM Chip? its a 94. Anyway of reseting it?

ok i think i have the fan problem figured out because there are different stages, the first stage is almost always on and then it gets louder as the engine heats up.

I can hear the fans comming on and off but the gauge still sits in the same spot, so I am guessing its that sensor? is there anything else that could cause it to do that?

Heres a question. If i wanted to run cooler at the track, could i just take the air pump fuse out so my fans would come on all the time?? or would this hurt performance in some way?

youw ouldnt want to do that, you would be better off hooking up a switch to control the fans.

fan turn on lowered in the pcm (190*) and CSI pump, car barely goes above the 1st 1/4 mark on the guage, no matter if i'm sitting in traffic or highway
stock thermostat
