What are the symptoms of a bad map sensor?

What are the symptoms of a bad map sensor?

Just wondering b/c im thinkin of changing it to see if it helps my hesitation any

when under heavy load likegoing uphill it will hesitate and cut out on ya

what about?

what about at idle and off the start...woud a map sensor cause hes??

Well, if you can scan for codes, a bad MAP sensor would set codes 33 or 34. I doubt that it is bad as these sensors rarely fail.
Cleaning the throttle body and IAC would probably help a lot with the hesitation, unless you need new plugs.
