what are the symptoms of a bad egr

On my '95 a code 32 indicated an EGR problem...also the check engine light kept comming on about 2x a week...I changed the EGR valve, and reset the code with a friend's Snap On diagnostic computer...that was 2 years ago...all is still well...

my car would shake HORRIBLY coming to stops, especially when cold. It would idle at 300+ rpms at the same time. Felt like the car was gonna shake apart. IT also gave me a SES forgot code # though...
