In South Carolina, you ain't gotta worry about crap. People talk about getting their catalytic converters taken off like it's nothing at all around here. Longtubes are every day discussion.

Whole states can't control wether or not to have emissions testings. It's done by the counties. I live in Arlington Hts. IL and I have emissions, but in Rockford they do not.

Actually I just read that the state is given a outline as to how much emissions they can have in their state, and the state breaks it up by counties choosing where poses the highest threat and such, in order to be able to sell other emissions rights to companys who release emissions. Although this didnt seem to be a good source of information

no emissions in NW Illinois. I think its just around Chicago, but with Blajo in Springfield now who knows... we may all have it soon.
