What STALL CONVERTER to go with? Please Help

Alright you all have convinced me to go ahead and buy a Precision Industries Vigilante converter. Now the problem I have will now be which stall speed should I go with? I want the car to be a daily driver with the ocasional power when I need it or at the track maybe twice a month. As well how much do you all think gas mileage would be affected, and where to buy it from?

Thank you all whoever can help me out, apreciate it.

I don't know exactly but i think a 2400 or 2800 would be good for daily driving. The 2400 being a little better. I would go with the 2400 if it more a daily driver. It will save some gas around town.

Yeah it would be a noticable difference. But the 2800 would be better for performance. I had a 2800 stall in my mustang. I didn't mind it to much. But some people don't like it. So maybe if you could find somebody that has one of the 2 and see how you like it for street driving. I say the 2800 for better et's, and the 2400 to be more streetable.

thats impossible, i've driven cars with stalls like that, gas milage is definetely going to severely go down, plus the reving factor, it seems that you have to rev hard to get the TQ to accel properly, i realie this is the point, but it is severely annoying when crusing, you have to give alot more throttle to go up hills or accel after a stop.

yes it is(as far as i've been told anyway) , would be nicer if they had made it 2400 though, or maybe 2200 would be a realistic goal for a stock vehicle, i would have settled for 2250 if they had asked me lol

stupid GM, they never ask for my opinion before they design car lol, whats the deal?

I have a 2400 and its dam near stock in feel. I say get the 2800. I deliver pizza right now with my 2400! I dont think it effected gas much if any. Once I get outta the pizza biz again(I need to $$ right now) I will probably get a 3000 or so for fun. Also will need a more daily driver at that time. lol

Question

Well I can not deciede between 2400 or 2800 . I will not be adding many further mods than the ones I have now, 3.73 gears, and pcmforless. Does this mean I will be needing slicks too?

I don't think you would need slicks for the street. If you get the 2800 i would say get some nitto dr's for the track though. But if your not planning on much more mods after the torqe conv. then i would go with the 2400. With the 3.73 they would make a nice combo. But if your like me once you mod it's hard to stop. The 2800 would be much more noticable then the 2400 though. I also think anything more then the 2800 would be kinda annoying for street driving.

If your sure you won't be modding any more go 2,400. If your not so sure go higher you will thank yourself later when you don't have to redo somethin you have done before.
