What springs are you running with the GM 847 cam w/ 1.6 rockers....do they require any machine work? We swapped cams from a Hotcam to the 847 on my brother-in-laws car. Used to run the LT4's and trying to get a spring that fits without additional machine work.

K-motion k-800 with no machine work. Do need to shim them accordingly.

 

Same springs my head prep guy used for this cam.

 

Do these springs come with shims?

 

No the springs are just springs. You will need retainers, 10 degree locks and then need to measure your installed height, figure out your pressure needed and shim accordingly
