What to spray exhaust with to keep from rusting??

What to spray exhaust with to keep from rusting??

I put on the hooker catback last week and wanted to know of somethin i can spray the pipe with to keep it from rustin just somethin i could pick up from walmart is all im lookin for thanks

i would use engine paint myself

HIGH TEMP CLEARCOAT is the way to go

most parts stores....NAPA,PEPBOYS,KRAGEN,AUTOZONE etc... I think Duplicolor makes it or DUPont either way its for engine clearcoaating but it will coat exhaust and withstand temps well above the exhaust. Just get the clearcoat though if you dont wanna paint your exhaust some kind of color

ive been to pep boys i know they have clear coat just nevered seen the high temp stuff

I painted mine with dupli color hi temp aluminum -- that way it sortof matches my ceramic coated Hooker Long Tubes

I painted my true duals with some 1200* high temp flat black paint. Looks fine, and isn't rusted yet

You can buy a little time, but the pipes corrode from the inside as well. Unless you use stainless, they'll perforate eventually.
