what are some indicators of a bad opti?

The subject says it all. I'm curious how your cars acted when your optis were about to die.

hesitation and bucking under heavy load is a good indication

ie, put her in 5th or 6th gear at low speed and floor it .. if it starts to buck and cough .. optis gonna die soon ..
