What size, thread bolts for tranny mount?

This is a random question but does anyone know what size, thread, pitch, etc bolts are used to bolt the trannymount to the transmission? When I got my tranny in the trannyswap it never came with these. I used 3/8" coarse thread bolts and it they dont seem to be right. I cant put anymore than a few foot pounds on them without them loosening and when i took them out I saw some metal shavings.

Depends on how much damage there is. Try threading in the new bolts by hand. If they won't go, a tap or thread chaser may clear it up for you.

So I guess that solves the trans. mount prob.! I'd still suggest getting an ES poly. mount, they are $20 out of Summit.

Dave the mount itself looks fine, it is a little loose though. The poly mount maybe in my future.
