What size tap for 02 sensor?

What size tap for 02 sensor?
My driver side header 02 will tighten,but it only gets so tight.I can tighten it good but if I try and tourque it down it loosens.Should I leave it or tap it.It seems like its in there pretty tight now.What do you think. Mike
