Arrow ls1/lt1 4l60e's the same?

Wondering if the 4l60e's between the ls1 and lt1 are the same trannys and can be interchanged.

I don't think so. I believe there is a difference in the bell housing between the 2.

The bellhousing is different. It is actually removable on the LS1 and it totally encompasses the torque converter. You actually have to remove the torque converter bolts through the starter hole.
