my car came with an oil cooler from the factory but we took it off cuz the inside part that held the filter was full of metal shavings. we pulled it and put another filter and just ground down the bolt that holds it in place. but now i just need to know what size the hose is that goes to the bottom of the water pump and connects to the radiator? it was late last night and i dont remember what size, can anyone help me out? thanks guys, might post up a video of my LE2 cammed 355 soon.

Just cap it off.

 

One end of the bypass hose is 5/8" the other end is 3/4"..

 

where can i find one like this, cuz i went to autozone and they say its a cut to fit universal hose? i put it on my car and it worked but its all just one size 5/8 i believe. or should i just get a T-coupler with a step in size and just use that?

 

I ran mine capped off for 5 years, no issues. I recently installed a 1994 oil cooler (Moroso style).

 

GM p/n 10197675.. or the idea you have will work [not with a 'tee' but with a 'coupling']
and yes, it is 2 diff sizes on each end.. tho I guess 5/8" might stretch to 3/4".. it might fail sooner from the stretching also..
