What size injectors for 383?
What size injectors for 383?
I have just about got all my parts together for a 383 stroker motor. the motor will have stock heads and a cc305 or 306 cam. I will be using a 125 shot on it. i figure i would atleast need 30# injectors right?
What about if i ran N/A could i just use my stock ones till i get the nitrous system on?
thanks
Shawn

Got to know expected HP to calculate correctly.

A rough guideline would be 24#/HR for up to 400 flywheel HP (do you really mean "stock" heads?), and 30#/HR up to 500 flywheel.
Whether the nitrous has any affect at all on the injector size depends on the type of system you use. A wet system doesn't require any extra fuel through the injectors. A dry system will generally use increased fuel pressure to supply extra fuel when you spray, not larger injectors. The exception would be a dry system running off an aftermarket computer that could alter pulse width based on switching to a nitrous program when you spray.
