What are the signs of a bad O2 sensor??

fuel economy may turn bad, down to 10-12mpg if the o2 sensors are shot. Car runs rough in closed loop (after it warms up). If its bad enough, the service engine light will come on and the car will switch to open loop, will run smoother but drink fuel like there is no tomorrow.
