Good tools mean nothing without hands that understand them.

cruise AFR is 14.7 that is what the stock O2s do.

13.5 is richer not leaner but is still a little leaner than you want it too be at WOT

i mean richer...lol. my bad.

as for the good tools thing, i just got it. didn't know much about widebands, but asked for a good brand so i could determine what was wrong with my truck and hopefully fix it. my communication port has not worked since i installed the new harness from s&p. plus i was told that i needed one in order to have it tuned on the dyno , which is one of the next things i may do to the truck.

thanks for the info

On a side note your ALDL plug is very easy to wire up and get it working. There are only like 3 wires that need to be hooked up and you can wire it directly into the stock plug if the motor is from the same year as the truck is. If it is not you can use the stock plug on the motor. When I get home I will find the diagram and send it to you if you would like.

please do. i have one actually wired on the s&p harness , but it hasn't worked. i need to double check the wiring. i have an obd1 auto xray, and there's an obd1 plug on the harness, even though it's a 95 computer. the diagram will be helpful, thanks! lunchbox@***.net
