What should my car be shifting at?

My car has a stock rebuilt tranny with a TCI 2800 stall, 373's and stock shift points. It has an MSD 6Al if that matters and shifts at 6200 rpms. Is this the normal shift point?

With stock cam, I ran only up to about 6000 rpm, after that it doesn't produce much power.

5800 to 6000 RPM is where I would set the WOT shift point. Not only is a stock cam not making power pat 6k RPM, but ur bottom end isn't balanced to spin any higher either. Anything past 6K Rpm is putting more stress on your engine.
