I have the cc306 cam with motive k-800 springs with hot cam kit 1.6rr. What seats locks and reatainers will i need? Any links?

 

If those springs work with the Comp 728-16 titanium super lock retainers
I have them NIB for $100 shipped. I may even have some super locks as
well. I'm not sure what seats are the best.

 

Those rockers are limited to .550 lift and you will be WELL over that on the exhaust side.

 

I thought it was the lt4 springs that were limited to .550 lift?

 

I was told that those rockers will be fine. anyone else?

 

LT4 springs are marginal at the .525 lift of the HOT cam. GM speced the GMPP versions of the Crane Golds for .550 lift in order to shorten up the slot and make them stronger.

 

are you saying that the springs wont work or the rockers wont work? I have the GM 1.6 rr not springs. I have motive k-800 springs. Now i just need to find the locks and retainers to use????? anyone know?

 

Get the ones that go with the K-800 springs from Motive and don't depend on the choices that others have made. If ya get the wrong ones on an oppinion and they break/come loose/drop a valve it makes a big mess.$$$$
