Gripenfelter I think you are going to make some real good power with the head/cam package from Lloyd. I never dynoed but I was making over 400rwhp closer to 425rwhp with Lloyds heads and Joe's small camm 226-234@50. my car would have ran low 11's once I got the 60' and some tuning in but the bottom end let go first. I am going with something a little bigger but not much. Later Clint

Gripenfelter, go with the tune from PCMforless. Remember, the guy who does the chip tunes is not the same guy who does the flash tunes. The chip guy KNOWS how to tune these things. He'll be doing my 355/custom cam setup also. He almost nailed my 224/230 setup on the first tune. Go with him, you won't regret it.

Ok cool.

The guy that had a rich idle was a 94 so maybe Alvin is better for the 93s.

Alvin is the man when it comes to these 93's. I can safely say I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Joe O sent me a tune. I could have probably p/u some with a dyno tune but the car was killing the tires as it was and that was with a 3.42 gear 3550lb. car and a TH350 with a high first gear I thought I would have need more gear but the car ran awesome. I can't imagine how well your 383 should run with good heads and a mnatched cam! It should make a ton of torque. You need to get Joe or someone of the like to custom grind one for your engine b/c the cam for a 350 won't be right for a 383. Later Clint

Well as it is I can't hook till 2nd gear on 3.23s and Nittos with the XE 230/236.

I went to 3.73s last winter.

Lloyd Elliott is sending me a cam. Its similar to the GM 847. Thats all I know about the specs lol.

Buy a set of Et streets or if it were me and the kind of torque you should make I would put a set of 26x10 ET drags and hold on!
