I just sold my car and the guy called me back and said asked what RPMs should I be running at 70? I never really checked, but he said that he is around 2400 rpms

car has 3.23 gears

what RPM should he be at? that sounds pretty normal to me...

Our tachs are known to show more than actual. Here is a calculator.

Did they fix the tachs at some point? Mine is dead on.

Actual RPM at 70mph in an A4 with 3.23's and a 0.70 ratio in 4th is 2050.
