what rpm are you lauching at with DR's

It is completely dependant on the track, launch at whatever hooks. At milan dragway in milan, michigan I can launch at 1500 rpm on street tires and not hook and at Stanton, Michigan I can launch at 3000 grand on street tires and hook, my friend cuts a 1.86 60ft time with his all season pos tires! But when he goes to milan, he can only cut a 2.3 or so.

255/50/15 BFG DRs. I launch in between 3500 and 4k. 4k I spin and 3500 I bog a tad. Tires are at 20 psi. Thank god I'll have slicks next year. DRs are a HUGE PITA to launch on. I still havent found the sweet spot, I've only been to the track 4 times this year and under 20 runs trying so many different things and not working. I'm more worried about why my car is trapping 100.7 with my mods, losing 2 mph with LTs isnt making me happy...

like they said, you just have to go and test what works
on the street i run them at 20psi, and like 17 at the track...ive spun on the street from as low as like 1700rpm drop and ive hooked at the track as high as 3100, but not very often...just gota go and work at it
