It will be fine. I used a 2600 for a while and almost broke into the 11's with it. A 3200 would be a bit better though IMHO.

Re: What are the RPM rang for 503 and 503 cam??

I shift mine at 6200 rpms with a Yank 3500 stall. With my LE2 heads at the 6200 rpm shifts the car is still pulling hard. Thinking of raising it to 6350 rpms as suggested by Bryan Herter at PCMFORLESS. With a little luck I will get my pig into the 11's with the 503. Good luck.
