What redline is safe?

I am trying to figure out what redline to use. The setup is as follows:

LT1 ported heads by Lloyd
Comp XL 230/236-112 cam (.545/.555 lift w/1.6) - this is the low lift version of the XE line
Comp replacement lifters (850-16)
Comp Hi-Tech pushrods
Comp Guideplates
Comp Pro-Magnum NSA 1.6 rockers for 7/16 stud
7/16 rocker studs
Comp 987 dual springs
Completely STOCK bottom end.

This is in a semi-daily driver. I need to know what to tell the programmer. How high can I safely push the stock bottom end? Which is going to be the limiting factor here - the shortblock or the valve train?

I want to keep it all together for a couple of years.

I would say your engine is good up to 7000 rpm, but just to be on the safe side, I would set my rev limiter to no more than 6500.

Yep, rev limiter of 6500-6600 would be a good idea.

I have a pretty close set up, except using k-800 springs with TI retainers. I run it to 6700ish pretty often and no problems yet...

Your valve train shouldnt be the problem, it will be the main bearings
