What problems could doing this cause.... (read inside)

A while back, my car was held revving at around 6000 rpm for almost 30 seconds bouncing off of the spark rev limiter on my MSD digital 6 that I used to have... It's a long story, but don't let other people drive your car. The point is, that situation is not natural, there is no time in which for any reason the motor should be subjected to those conditions. For that reason, I'm thinking it's a unnatural problem. Overall, the car drives like mush, it has random hesitation all throguhout the powerband but it's relatively worse on light throttle conditions, and it has no power. Well let me rephrase that, it has power, but compared to when it's running good it feels like it lost 150 horses and even more torque.

Anyway, the car has not ran right since. I'm not the type to cut corners either, the car is put together properly, scanned regularly, tuned, all problems fixed, no bull****, compression is perfect across the board... you get the picture. The last time the car felt like this, I redid the entire ignition system (opti, coil, msd, wires, plugs) and it fixed it. Then this problem happened and I have not been able to pinpoint the problem.

I am starting to think it's something mechanical because no electrical problems are surfacing or showing themselves in any way. What does a bent pushrod or a collapsed lifter feel like? Any other unnatural things that could have gone wrong in the conditions I described in the first paragraph???

it could be a spark plug that is fouled out. I have seen stock lt1 rev high then that but not for the duration of time. you also might have a bent push rod or two.

I replaced the ignition with a delteq and new plugs so that's not it. In fact I just recently did a compression test and the plug were doing just fine. Compression was literally between 205-207 across the board.

I saw that you have a blower. At that rpms, you would be at max boost. it maybe possible that blower pressure spiked. you my have blown or torn a hose and you are losing blower pressure.

I'm sure it was boosting but it won't be more than 3-4 pounds. Either way, even if I did blow a hose, my MAF is like 6 or 7 inches from the intake manifold anyway (relocated to pressure side).
