If you had a problem then you'd feel it in all Gears? Right?

Mmmmmm, good question. I have never seen first hand or heard an in depth convo concernning bent push rods other than the severely bent ones that make the motor all but runable.

I know it could be a host of things, but, me engine IS running a little rough at idle, like it has a mild cam in it. My friends A4 purrs like a kittin, IN gear. Mine rumbles and vibrates outta gear (m6).

I know the people before me beat the **** outta it, they had too. You should have seen the interior, they didnt give a damn, lol. So, I was wondering about this. Its not important enough to have to go into the engine and really no exuse, as of now, to pull the covers and spend wasted time on. Its just one of those questions like "how big is the universe going to explode before it implodes". We will figure it out soon enough and I will get to the push rods soon enough too, but for now, I am curious from the ones that do know or have a good idea.

Well the reason I ask is That I have a chip, and it has the Rev limiter set at 7K, and I've accidentally bounced off it a few times....

I was wondering myself when I hit around 6.5gs trying to keep up with a mustang, first time "I" ever did it. I figured if I did it, I am sure the previous owner did too.
