I have a ton of stuff to install on my car in the up coming weekends. One thing I want to do is run the spark plug wires over the valve covers. I plan on getting the "made for you" loom kit, but I was wondering what wires to go with, Taylor, Moroso, etc. and where to get them. A friend told me that I have to by a custom set for our cars. I'm looking for red wires to match the intake.

 

www.thunderracing.com sells the complete kit for $100. You get Taylor 8MM wires, the over the valve cover looms, and a crimping tool. You have to cut the wires to length and crimp the ends on, but that's no big deal. A pretty good deal overall. Both of my T/A's have them.

 

Which is better the top mount or the side mount?

 

Top mount. There's really not a whole lot of room for side mount.
