Thats what i was going to say i think it might give support or something maybe looks like it bolts up the trans pan.

dont know how that got there, but it bolts on to the coil, and holds a solenoid for the AIR system.

Looks like the clip on the drivers side/rear of the intake manifold that holds the EGR vacuum solenoid. Someone took it off and dropped it down the back of the engine, and it got stuck on top of the tranny.

No...your wrong. Like Fred said, there are two. One in the back of the intake, and one up front by the coil...
