i have a 93 camaro z28 as of now all i have is a k&n FIPK, no cat's with flowmasters...i ordered a chip from superchips that im gettin programmed now and i have a torque converter going in with a custom transmission. I have 2 questions. 1. what other mods should i add for the most h/p and best 1/4 ET besides headers 2. what stall speed should i get the converter at?

 

Besides headers, roller rockers, and an electric water pump will all add some extra power. A 2800 stall would be a good stall, just make sure you add a tranny cooler as well to combat the extra heat.

 

Header or gears would be a good choice.

As for the 2800 or 3200 stall would be good for the stock motor. As the other guy said the tranny cooler is a must.

One of the board members installed the electric water pump followed by a dyno pull and he netted ten horse at the wheels.

 

Yeah you will love the 373's I upgraded over the 323's and noticed a big difference , and I have a tci breakaway 2800 stall..I like it, but I wish I would of went 3,000-3200 stall..

E-water pump is good for at least 5-7 rwhp, some claim up to 10.
Airfoil is great for a few ponies, as is the TBbypass and swap in an aluminum driveshaft is you haven't already.

But I think headers and rockers are probably your next big mods without going "internal" (cams, heads, displacement changes)
