Re: What Octane Do You Feed Your LT1?
when I had my LT1 and continuing with my LS1 always 93 and always either Exxon/Mobil or Shell.. I dont ever go to Chevron or Texaco.. Just dont like them (and I have no reason for it.. just feeling i get when I see them..)
I also have almost every single gas reciept..
sad..
hehe
My psychotic display of my cars gas usage..

Re: What Octane Do You Feed Your LT1?
93 here.
i seriously don't understand why people would put lower octane cuz of price. what do u save? .10 per gallon,,,so u save 1.50 $ for a FULL fill up
...i guess i don't understand cuz i don't watch pennies.
if you guys budget yourselves that closely,,u bought the wrong car !

Re: What Octane Do You Feed Your LT1?
i have only used 87 a few times, but i notice that when i use it i usually waste more gas with 87 than with 93. i travel about 200+miles a week and 93 just last a little longer, not to mention it has a more tolerant smell. i put 87 when i had LT's and a cutout and it smelled horible, but with 93 it was a little better.
