is there anything else i need to keep in mind that i should replace while im doing the cam job?

You will need to replace gaskets and whatnot. Also, while you are in there, you might as well replace your rocker arms. You will get more gains out of your cam, and it will sound better

Timing chain would be a good idea, I have no recommendations though, I have an LT4 heavy duty timing chain that I don't like due to how tight it fits. Might want to go with RR's 1.6, to get the most lift out of the cam you are purchasing, it will open things up better.
Do you have headers?? What about a bigger TB? You want to get the most benefit from the cam as possible.

double roller timing chain wouldn't be a bad idea, along with an electric wp. you will need all the gaskets and you might wanna get a 1le elbow and some tuning
