What is my next mod?
What is my next mod?
Hey guys. Take a look at my sig and see what I have. What should I do for a bolt-on mod next? NOT heads/cam 'cause I am doing that over the winter AFTER I finish my '88 motor.. Just straight bolt-on. I am thinking my next two mods should be:
Programming (to get some things adjusted like speedo/rev limiter/cags and Knock Sensor dissable, maybe powertuning). If I give Brian at PCMFORLESS my mods/altitude/etc, can he improve things? Here is my post about it: http://www.camaross.com/forums/showt...hreadid=115630
Underdrive Pulley - any noticable gains with these at all? I will have my 4.10s back and I always rev the motor, so I don't think the alterntor charging will be a big issue.
What else can I do? Thanks guys?

I will, I will, but not now. Orignially, that solid roller that is going into the '88 motor was made for the LT1. It was 242/248 duration and .570/.571 lift with 112 lsa. However, I had the victor Junior heads and figured this cam would work well in this motor. For the LT1 I am going to go hydraulic roller, probably an XE cam 230/236 or mabye a CC306 and some ported heads next year. BUT NOT NOW!!!!
Your pretty much bolt ond out....id get yourself a cam and some springs....I reccomend getting a cam a lttle more powerful then a LT4..For all that work of an install get something to give ya some good power.
