What MPG on LT1 6 Spds?

Just wondering what you guys were getting on your mostly stock 6 spds.

And what kinda MPG you get on a highway trip.

Thanks in advance.

Well I just got around 15 non highway. Is that what or close to what they were rated at NEW? I,m still working out some of the issues with this car as it has 180 K on it and some Vac lines are unhooked and I dont know where they go or what they do, and I just bought it.

I get 20 around town and 30 on the highway. Not too bad for what is in my sig. This is my DD, and people always ask me how can I drive my car getting 15 mpg, and they say no way when I tell them what I am getting.

It's been a long time since I've driven my car, but on the highway I'm pretty sure I would get at least 25 stock.

Our 94 with full bolt ons was getting around 27 with the stock 3.42's. After we went with 4.11's it only went down to 24.5. I am happy for now.

either i need a tune or i just drive my car hard to much but my best mpg to date is 18 and that was with probably 80% freeway driving

on average i get 13 mpg

mods are cc503, headers, dual exhaust, home ported heads and intake and 4.10 gears

i wonder if i get dyno tuned if it will help my mpg's

Well, with 410s you are probably doing around 2 grand in 6 at around 65-70.
With a good engine and inflated tires you will probably get the best milage on the staight in 6 gear,4.32s (m6) at around 60 mph. Lots of variables, but these cars aren't built for gas milage.
